Born in Mexico City all my school life lived at Colima. That's where I attend Elementary, High school and College. Studied Telematics Engineer in the prestigious University of Colima where I graduated with honors with a special mention on Wireless Networking.
I've lived in so many places now, even in the US for a short period of time. Colima, Jalisco, Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Campeche, Houston TX and recently Monterrey in Nuevo León where i met Guillith who is an excellent Engineer as well as a cute girl that I love and now we are engaged and soon to be married.
First working experience after College. Worked at Preparatoria Numero 8, part of the University of Colima as Jr. SysAdmin. Bad salary but hey, first jobs not always the greates.
Big achievement: Creating the first Cisco Academy for high school students in Latin America.
On this year, worked for a Government Division called INEA that helps ground ups to learn how to write and read where i helped with Computer and Math lessons.
Big achievement: Great experience to help older people to use for the first time a computer.
After living in Guadalajara / Aguascalientes moved myself to Monterrey to start a new opportunity at Sytecso. As Jr. Developer for Bancomer and Sr. Tester for Axtel my expertise had a tremendous growth because that was the first time I got people on charge as well as Account Mananger.
Big achievement: Mobility Dev Schemas for the company as well as Unix Environment Documentation.
General Electric needed a Sr. IT Admin and i got the opportunity to be there. With the responsibility of a trans-national company I became the youngest Sr. IT Admin in Latin America. Working side-by-side with teams in USA, India, Holland created a great partnership with coworkers as well with side-companies. Played the roles of IT Admin, Unix Support, App Support, Security Advisor, Unix Specialist, Websphere Support, PHP Programmer as well as Production Support Transition Manager.
Big achievement: Migrating from Avaya Cajuns to Cisco 3750s, as well as Consolidate Mgmt Buildings and Reducing Costs with Bandwidth Analysis.
ColectivoLabs CoWorking Space was created and with that my second startup. Offering for the first time in Latin America a CoWorking space opened in Monterrey, NL on May 2010 with 5 business parters. Later became a successful Software Firm and still is. The roles I played there were CEO, CFO and PMO.
Big achievement: CFO Structure for little startups. Documented and shared with the rest of CoWorking spaces.
Afirme for the first time hired a Contractor what was independent. As Freelance, worked in Afirme Financial Group as IBM Websphere Administrator as well as Security Advisor.
Big achievement: Unix and Websphere automatization for Disaster Recovery Plan.
I'm a mobile enthusiast, so mobile development for iOS, Android, Blackberry and recently WindowsPhone 7 is what i've been done. I've also learned the ways of Drupal, and little of Design but still doing what I love: Infrastructure Management as Freelance for many companies over the country.
